children to consciously choose Jesus Christ as

happier and more fulfilled followers. Drawing
from the wisdom of The Imitation of Christ, this presentation is geared to

regarding a Divine Mercy image, a Divine Mercy
feast day, the Divine Mercy chaplet and novena,
and the Hour of Mercy. The presentation looks at
the spread of the messages of God’s mercy
through Faustina’s diary, despite great
opposition, and the Church’s response from
banning the devotion to canonizing Faustina in
the year 2000, under the spiritual direction of
Pope John Paul II. The talk concludes with
reflections on how we are to live out the
messages by extending God’s mercy to others. |
