Power Point Presentations for Adults
"Building Strong, Healthy Families through the Sacraments"
The sacraments are the special and intimate ways God becomes present in our daily lives. This presentation by adult convert, author, and mother-of-four takes a practical family approach in making these important connections to God come alive in our young children and their parents, instilling in all of us a deeper appreciation of our Catholic faith. Complete with creative ideas for the classroom and the home.
"Bleeding Hands, Weeping Stone
True Stories of Divine Wonders, Miracles, and Messages"
This presentation provides a fascinating overview of some of the extraordinary phenomena in the Catholic Church including Eucharistic miracles, the stigmata, incorrupt bodies, amazing abilities of the saints, and weeping statues and artwork. Includes events that are happening in modern times.
"Lourdes: 150 Years of Hope and Healing for a Hurting World"
Beginning with the story of Bernadette Soubirous and the famous apparitions of 1858, this talk covers the establishment of the sanctuary and its success in attracting millions of pilgrims, despite an increasing attitude of secularism in France and in the world. It discusses the advent of cures and pilgrimages and the development of a hospitality system second to none for welcoming visitors with illness and disability. Learn why a century and a half since the apparitions in the grotto of Massabielle, Lourdes has become an important center for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and a vital expression of Catholicity and the Gospel message today.
“Medjugorje: A Heavenly Plan for Peace”
Medjugorje is a tiny village that has had major impact on Catholics and people of other faiths around the world for the past twenty-six years. Since 1981, it is reported that the Virgin Mary has been appearing and giving daily messages to six visionaries. Today as married adults with children, the visionaries continue to witness to the messages entrusted to them. Learn what is at the heart of the messages, what the spiritual weapons are that Our Lady is urging us to employ, where the Church stands on the apparitions of Medjugorje, and how this special Marian place of prayer that has attracted more than forty million pilgrims is one of the most powerful conversion forces in the Church today.
“Helping Kids Develop a Personal Relationship with Jesus”
Children today are bombarded constantly with messages, distractions, and temptations that lure them away from the spiritual and create an over-emphasis on the worldly. Here are some practical ideas and activities to encourage children to consciously choose Jesus Christ as their true leader and, in the process, become happier and more fulfilled followers. Drawing from the wisdom of The Imitation of Christ, this presentation is geared to teachers and parents who nurture the spiritual development of children ages 8-13.
“Divine Mercy Made Ours”
A fascinating presentation on Sister Faustina Kowalska, a young, uneducated Polish nun, and her hidden but astonishing mystical encounters with Jesus Christ during the 1930’s. This talk discusses the messages of Divine Mercy Faustina received from Christ himself, as well as His instructions regarding a Divine Mercy image, a Divine Mercy feast day, the Divine Mercy chaplet and novena, and the Hour of Mercy. The presentation looks at the spread of the messages of God’s mercy through Faustina’s diary, despite great opposition, and the Church’s response from banning the devotion to canonizing Faustina in the year 2000, under the spiritual direction of Pope John Paul II. The talk concludes with reflections on how we are to live out the messages by extending God’s mercy to others.
“The Joy of Reconciliation”
This presentation begins by examining the numerous obstacles and misperceptions that prevent most Catholics from participating in and reaping the benefits from the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a most important encounter with Jesus Christ. It looks at the gift of Reconciliation, both in terms of God’s forgiveness as well as the many graces associated with it that help each of us to grow in holiness. Elizabeth shares her own miraculous experience with Confession that set her heart on fire for the sacrament and includes tips to help parents foster a similar enthusiasm in themselves and their children.
"The Age of Mary"

In this presentation, the major Marian apparitions of the last two centuries are explored to reveal a common and startling message that is relevant and even urgent for a troubled world today. Beginning with the apparitions to St. Catherine Laboure at Rue du Bac, France, and continuing with a discussion of La Salette, Lourdes, Fatima, Amsterdam, Akita, Rwanda, and Medjugorje, this presentation looks at the prevailing conditions of the times and locations of these remarkable events, and the numerous spiritual weapons Our Lady has given us over the past 180 years to protect us against the rising influence of evil.

“Avoiding Mass Hysteria: Teaching Children How to Behave in Church”
Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to teach small children how to behave at Mass without the need for toys, books, and food. This idea-filled presentation discusses simple techniques that will help to make the Mass experience pleasant and productive for your family and your fellow parishioners. Proper use of the cry room is also discussed.
"Six Ways to Keep the Advent Season Holy"
Advent is a sacred season of four weeks that the Church has set aside for the spiritual reflection of its people, but many of us miss out on this gift due to the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations. In this presentation, Elizabeth provides six tips on how to prevent the Advent season from being "consumed by consumerism" and keep it a time of special holiness and fruitfulness.
"A Journey in Grace: My Conversion Story"
From the time she was a young child growing up in a nominal Protestant family, Elizabeth felt called to follow God on an interesting and surprising spiritual journey that would eventually lead her to enter the Catholic Church at the age of twenty-three. During this presentation, Elizabeth shares stories of the little clues God left her along the way, including hearing His voice whispered in her ear, finding a significant religious medal, gaining insight and direction from a pilgrimage to Medjugorje in 1989, and discerning a ministry of Catholic writing and speaking designed to educate and excite Catholics about their faith.
