This presentation looks at the crisis in marriage today and how far we’ve come from God’s original design. It discusses marriage as a sacrament and the graces this affords to the married couple. Elizabeth and Mark share several ways they have found to nurture their own Catholic marriage of more than twenty-eight years, including Mass, Confession, Prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and spiritual reading. The topic of spiritual warfare is also discussed and the importance of being on guard for that. As a long-time presenting couple for Marriage Encounter, Elizabeth and Mark share the benefits of this movement in strengthening and nurturing Catholic marriages today.
